PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To widen a color reproduction range and to improve a hue by adopting an additive color mixture in combination with subtractive color mixture and forming a color-corrected image to optionally cancel subordinate absorption that coloring matter has and to obtain a hard copy having color reproduction close to a CRT image and a liquid crystal image. SOLUTION: Original absorption that a dyestuff has is reflected on a formed image of a hard copy formed by the subtractive color mixture of yellow, magenta, and cyan dyestuffs, so when the dyestuff has subordinate absorption, it is impossible to reproduce colors of high purity higher than it. Additive color mixture, however, is used to cancel the subordinate absorption, more specifically, by adding fluorescent substance having luminescence at the subordinate absorption part of the dyestuff, and defects resulting from the subordinate absorption can be eliminated. The fluorescent substance which is usable may be organic or inorganic substance as long as it is a fluorescent substance having luminescence in the subordinate absorption range and may have either a Stokes type shift or a non-Stokes type shift. |
