PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembling structure of sheet metal parts having a low cost and simple structure capable of providing sufficient joint strength and seal performance in a joggled lap joint part of two sheet metal parts. SOLUTION: In an assembling structure of sheet metal parts which fits up a bracket 3 formed so as to have a fitting seat surface 3a on both end parts thereof by bending a sheet metal member into a projection shape, to a joggled lap joint part wherein a step portion 1a is provided on an end edge part of a first sheet metal part 1, and a second sheet metal part 2 is joined to the inside of the step portion 1a so as to place both sheet metal parts 1, 2 surfaces on the same level, a cut-out part 1b having a shape corresponding to the fitting seat surface 3a is provided on a part on the step portion 1a of the first sheet metal part 1 where the fitting seat surface 3a of the bracket 3 is made to be fitted.
