摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a generator whose axial structure is miniaturized by reducing the high speed of refrigerant at a constricted part, thereby uniformizing a flow. SOLUTION: This generator is constituted for a main blower 11 mounted on a rotor shaft 12 of the generator to draw out refrigerant heated by the heat generation source of the generator from the generator, and to move it to a cooling device 23 so as to become vertical to a rotor shaft center line substantially, a cooling duct casing 33 for moving the refrigerant through at least a fluid constriction part 41 has meanwhile at least one overflow duct 66, receives the refrigerant discharged to the cooling duct casing 33 by the main blower 11 through an inflow zone 58 on the upstream side of the constriction part 41, bypasses the refrigerant around the constriction part 41, and directs the refrigerant to an outflow zone 59 which is positioned on the downstream side of the constriction part 41 in the flowing direction, and the refrigerant flows into the cooling casing duct 33 at the outflow zone 59 again.
