DRAIN STRUCTURE OF OIL PAN IN INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent lubrication oil discharged from a drain cock from scattering. SOLUTION: A corner part between a bottom wall part 18 and a side wall part in the deep bottom part 14 of an oil pan 10, is recessed inward of the oil pan 10 so as to form an inclined wall part 22 in which a drain cock 24 is fitted. A draining bead 28 which is inward convex is formed on the bottom wall part 18, surrounding the drain cock 24. The draining bead 28 is extended so that its both ends located around the ridgeline 26 between the bottom wall part 18 and the inclined wall part 22.
