PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To plan the layout of the partition wall section of a common corridor and a dwelling-unit space freely while being profitable. SOLUTION: In the multi-story residence having dwelling-unit spaces 10 and common corridors 11 at every floor while having pipes 7 penetrated to each floor, sections among the dwelling-unit spaces 10 and the common corridors 11 on each floor are partitioned by partitioning bodies 20 constituted by connecting a plurality of units 21, 22, 23, 24 in unified module size, and the pipe space units 23, in which at least the above-mentioned pipes are housed, are used as the units 21, 22, 23, 24 and the units 23 are arranged at common places on each floor while the residual units 21, 22, 24 are disposed selectively.
