FACSIMILE EQUIPMENT, AND DEVICE AND METHOD FOR COMMUNICATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the handeability by storing transmission-source electronic mail addresses set in the device, communication destination information, and transfer destination electronic mail addresses so that they correspond to one another, and performing normal transmission, when an electronic mail address matches the transmission-source electronic mail address of a received electronic mail and sending a message indicating error transmission, when it does not. SOLUTION: A facsimile number is set as a number ID of one's own facsimile in advance and an electronic mail address is inputted to a subaddress. The facsimile data of it are received from a FAX data transmission, and reception part 5 and the sender's identification is stored as a facsimile number for notification. The received facsimile data are converted to the format of an electronic mail and the format-converted data are sent to the destination mail address through a LAN control part 6. When an error occurs, a gate way in a LAN performs retrieval based upon the transmission-source electronic mail address in the sent electronic mail to notify of the information for communication.
