PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic mail receiver without receiving an attachment file unnecessary for user. SOLUTION: In a storage part 6, a condition table 61 which describes a reception condition of an attachment file attached to an electronic mail are stored. Then, a processing part 4 is provided with an attachment file information acquisition part 41 which obtains reception processing of header information in an electronic mail and information attachment file information of information on an attachment file from received header, a reception able/disable decision part 42 for deciding whether or not the attachment file information satisfies the reception condition, a text processing part 44 for performing the reception processing of text information of the electronic mail and an attachment file processing part 45 for performing the reception processing of the attachment file when it is judged that reception is possible.
