PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect feet and to continue buffering by matching soles with the natural shapes of the side parts of feet. SOLUTION: The sole of a foot 27 and the surface 29 of the side part of the foot 27 should accurately be matched to the upper surface 30 of a sole 28. The thickness of the sole 28 is specified as the distance S between any given point on the upper surface 30 of the sole 28 and a lower surface 31. The sole 28 is matched to the actual shape of the foot 27 by forming the sole 28, as a general concept, out of a sole material of virtually uniform thickness in effect, a single flat sheet in theory and enveloping the foot 27 in the sheet so as to envelope the foot 27 without causing any twist or deformation in the sheet at the time of matching and bending the sheet to the shape of the foot. The side edge i.e., inner edge of the side part for stabilization of the sole is formed in a shape similar to the actual shape of the side part i.e., end edge of a human foot so as to follow a theoretically ideal stable flat surface similarly to the outside part i.e., outer edge of the side part for stabilization of the sole.
