METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SELECTING PARAMETERS IN A CELLULAR RADIO COMMUNICATION NETWORK

The invention concerns a method whereby for each base station (1) serving mobile stations in a cell, measurements carried out on radio channels in the cell are used to obtain values of a measurable quantity compared to one or several related parameters in a procedure managing radio resources allocated to the mobile stations. A sample statistic of said measurable quantity values is kept. The value of each related parameter for the cell is adapted such that, according to the statistic sample, a predetermined fraction of the measurable quantity values obtained from said measurements are higher than the related parameter value.
