<p>A surgical forceps which can be used for taking biopsy specimens internally is described having a compact configuration and very wide opening jaws, both of which are movable together by means of an elongated, flexible actuator member which operates directly only on one of the two end effectors containing the respective jaws. The forceps is particularly useful in conjunction with a surgical scope such as an endoscope or similar device.</p> |
