<p>An insulating material is provided which comprises a plurality of layers (2, 4, 6) of a primary material which serves to impede airflow and optionally provide protection against moisture arranged in alternating fashion with an elastic material. The primary material is attached to the elastic material at spaced apart attachment points and arranged such that, as the elastic contracts, it causes the primary material to take a bowed or corrugated configuration thereby entraining air therein which serves to provide good insulating properties.</p> |
