The present invention relates to syringe bodies. The syringe body according to the invention is characterised essentially by the fact that it comprises a chamber 1 delimiting a cylindrical volume 2 which is open at its two ends 3, 4, a thrust rod 5, a piston 8 having a cross-sectional shape complementing that 7 of the cylindrical volume, means 9 for mounting the piston at one end 10 of the thrust rod 5, and at least one tab 11, 12, the said tab having a "V" shape, the two ends 14, 13 or 15, 16 of the tab being integral, respectively, with the wall 17 of the chamber 1 and with the thrust rod 5 in such a way that the axis 18 of the thrust rod 5 is coincident with that 19 of the cylindrical volume 2. <IMAGE>
