The dryer has one or more fields one behind the other containing a horizontal transporting device for a goods track. Each has a circulating device with one jet box above the track and at least one below it. The fan has an induction chamber and an input air chamber connected to apertures in the jet boxes. The input air chamber is divided by an intermediate wall (15) into a compression chamber (25) and a distribution chamber (26). The compression side of the fan (8) is connected to the compression chamber and the distribution chamber is also indirectly connected to it.
