The arrangement has a pneumatically operated expansion unit (20) with which a test chamber in the sleeve coupling (13) region is bounded and a test gas delivery arrangement (38) that opens into the test chamber. The expansion unit has an annular chamber (31) open to the outer periphery and contg. a test gas sensor (32) between each end of its end facing away from the test chamber and each wall of its walls bounding the test chamber.
