Heating appliance with a burner 16 arranged in the double- walled combustion chamber 2, the combustion chamber 2 being surrounded by a housing 3 connected to the outside air and essentially leak-tight relative to the installation space, and a blower 15 being provided for the forced ventilation of the interior of the housing. In order to make optimum combustion and cooling of the combustion chamber possible, there is provision for an annular space 9 remaining between the inner wall of the housing 3 and the combustion chamber 2 to be closed off, in the region of the lower end of the combustion chamber 2, relative to a distribution chamber 8 extending below the combustion chamber 2, and for the interior of the double-walled combustion chamber 2 to be connected to the annular space 9 at one point and to be connected, at an essentially diametrically opposite point, to the distribution chamber 8 which is connected to the combustion chamber 2 in the region of the latter via outlet orifices 19. <IMAGE> |
