PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner in which a filter can be easily cleaned and only a net can be replaced by another one. SOLUTION: On an air conditioner, a suction grill is mounted so as to be openable. A long life filter folded in steps in a pleat form along a longitudinal direction is detachably attached inside the suction grill in the inlet side of an air passage between an inlet port and an outlet port. The frame 5a of the filter is provided separately from a net part 5b. Step parts 5a1 corresponding to the folds of the net part 5b are formed along the longitudinally inner wall of the frame 5a. Engaging parts 5a2 for detachably engaging both the ends of the net part are provided in an inner wall different from the longitudinally inner wall. Reinforcing parts 5b1 for holding the folds are provided in both side parts in the longitudinal direction of the net part 5b by welding. Engaging holes 5b2 corresponding to the engaging parts 5a2 are provided on both the ends of the net part 5b. |
