The windscreen wiper uses a blade that is affixed to the extremity (20) of a wiper arm (12) using a connector which has a mounting assembly allowing it to be hinged to the blade. The wiper arm is formed as a single piece and the connector is fixed to one longitudinal attachment tab (30) formed from the material of the extremity of the wiper arm, and this attachment tab engages into a complementary cavity in the connector.
