<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the troublesomeness of input and to reduce symbol selection time by mutually switching the list display of half size symbols and the list display of full size symbols and displaying them at the same positions on a display screen. SOLUTION: A symbol board 100 is provided with a candidate display area 120 for displaying the candidates of a symbol and a recognized result display area 130. Upon acquiring that the symbol icon 103 and half size icon of the symbol board 100 are touched with a pen from a tablet detection part, a CPU obtains symbol data stored in a half size page storage area and data relating to the arrangement from a symbol table stored in a storage device, temporarily stores them in a RAM and lists and displays the plural half size symbols in the candidate display area 120 of the symbol board 100 (a). In the case that the symbol icon 103 and a full size icon 101 are touched with the pen, the symbol and arrangement data stored in a full size one-page storage area are acquired from the symbol table and the plural full size symbols are listed and displayed in the candidate display area 120 of the symbol board 100 similarly (b).</p> |
