PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visible ray setting resin composition excellent in sensitivity to visible ray, safety workability, operation efficiency and quality stability of a product. SOLUTION: The visible ray setting resin composition is used under an environment of irradiation of safety light having the max. wave length selected from the range of 500-620 nm and large in relative visibility and contains a photosetting resin (A), a photoreaction initiator (B) and a photosensitizing agent (C) containing at least one kind of a dipyromethene boron complex compound expressed by formula (1) and the absorbance of an unsensitized coating film formed from the composition is <=0.5 in a wavelength range of±30 nm of the max. wavelength of the safety light. Where each of R1 , R2 , R3 , R5 , R6 and R7 represents individually hydrogen atom, halogen atom, nitro group, cyano group, hydroxy group, amino group, carboxyl group or sulfonic acid group, R4 represents hydrogen atom, cyano group or an alkyl group, R8 represents an alkyl group, an aryl group or an aralkyl group and R9 represents halogen atom, an alkoxy group, an aryloxy group or an aralkyloxy group.
