PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical equipment capable of visually confirming a subject image coincident matching in the direction of a lens barrel, even in the state that a power source is turned off. SOLUTION: When a power source switch of a pair of binoculars is turned off, motors for an actuator in the vertical direction and the horizontal direction are driven so that a vertical direction driving frame is positioned at a vertical direction reset position and a horizontal direction driving frame is positioned at a horizontal direction reset position at a step S411. At a step S412, the motors for the actuator in the vertical direction and the horizontal direction are driven, based on a difference between the reset position read out from an EEPROM in advance and a movable center position, the vertical direction driving frame is driven to the center position of vertical direction moving and the horizontal direction driving frame is driven to the center position of horizontal direction moving. At a step S413, the respective motors are stopped. At a step S414, the supply of power is stopped, and the processing is finished. |
