PURPOSE:To improve the C/N of the regenerative signal with a simple process by developing a master disk with an aq. alkaline soln. with its normality specified. CONSTITUTION:The latent image 10 of a guide groove is firstly formed on a master disk 1 by laster cutting, the master disk is placed on a turntable with a photoresist layer 2 directed upward and turned, and a surfactant is supplied thereon to form a hydrophilic liq. layer. A 0.17-0.21 N aq. alkaline soln. is then supplied on the layer 2 at a fixed flow rate to develop the master disk. Pure water is dripped on the layer 2 after development is finished to clean the master disk, and an optical disk is formed. Consequently, the unexposed part 11 of the information recording surface of the optical disk is smoothed, and the C/N of the regenerative signal is improved with a simple structure. |
