LOAD DISTRIBUTION METHOD FOR CALCULATING REQUIRED QUANTITY OF MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniform the loads of respective computers at the time of executing the parallel processing of MRP calculation in a parallel computer. SOLUTION: An item-sorted unit calculation frequency table 13 describing items and the frequency of unit calculation processing estimated to be executed for each item is prepared. A load distribution processing part 11 refers to the table 13 and allocates the processing of respective items to respective computers so that the sum of unit calculation frequency corresponding to respective items allocated to respective computers is uniformed. Unit calculation processing finds out the work and the required quantity and required period of other items necessary for acquiring an item indicated by required quantity data, based on the item and the required quantity data indicating the quantity of the item and the required period of the item, and generates the found other items and required quantity data indicating the required quantity and the required period of the other items.
