PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device preventing excessive cooling of a light-emitting tube of a lamp, and controlling the temperature of the light- emitting tube to the value within the specified temperature range, further controlling the temperature of a sealed part of the lamp to the value less than specified. SOLUTION: This light source device comprises a lamp 1 set by penetrating a reflector 2 opening ahead and a hole 21 formed in the bottom of the reflector 2, a cooling means F for cooling the lamp 1 and the reflector 2, and a partition 3 provided along the opening edge of the reflector 2. The partition 3 comparts the inside of the light source device into a reflector opening side room R1 and a reflector backside room R2. The internal pressure of the reflector opening side room R1 is higher than that of the reflector backside room R2 by cooling air flow generated by the cooling means F, thereby the cooling air flows from the reflector opening side room R1 to the reflector backside room R2 through a gap between the bottom hole 21 of the reflector 2 and the lamp 1. |
