PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device by which a pattern image to correct image deviation is highly accurately detected and an image having no deviation and having excellent quality is formed. SOLUTION: The pattern image to correct the deviation of the image to be outputted is outputted on the feeding belt of a copying machine. The pattern image is detected through a pattern sensor 29 arranged oppositely to a belt. The pattern sensor 29 is attached to a holding member 61, and the holding member 64 where a dustproof pad 63 is stuck intervenes between the detecting end part of a sensor and the belt. A hole 63a to expose the detecting end part to the belt is formed at the dustproof pad 63 and the holding member 64. A solenoid 66 is turned off at normal time, so that the detecting end part is closed, and the solenoid 66 is turned on when the pattern image is detected, so that the detecting end part is exposed. |
