The trough (2) is open at the top and has a collar (12) fixed to the rim (6). The collar consists of an inner (13) and outer (14) ring. The inner ring overhangs the inner compartment (2a) of the trough. The outer ring extends as far as the vicinity of the surface (15) of the ground (16) on which the trough stands. The trough's rim has at least one protuberance (21). The underside (20) of the collar has at least one detent (19) for clipping the collar to the trough. The cover (8) is fixed by means of a spacer piece (5,7) to the trough, and has a deflector ring (17) sloping downwards to the trough.
