The invention relates to a method for generating and transmitting an entire image having additional image parts which can not be seen at the moment they are viewed. The method comprises the following steps; generating the additional image parts in a second optical spectral range which lies outside a visible optical spectral range; detecting the entire image in the visible optical spectral range and in the second optical spectral range; generating an image content signal from the entire image, and; displaying the entire image according to the image content signal in the visible optical spectral region, whereby the additional image parts are transformed in the visible optical spectral region.
