IMPACT-RESISTANT ACRYLIC POLYMER PELLETS AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THEM

Impact-resistant acrylic polymer pellets comprising an acrylic multi-layer structure polymer having at least one rubbery elastomer layer ( alpha ) as an inner layer and a hard polymer layer ( beta ) prepared from mainly methyl methacrylate as the outermost layer, wherein the amount of acetone-insolubles including the rubbery elastomer layer ( alpha ) is 70 to 97 % by weight per unit weight of the pellet; and a process for producing them. The pellets are excellent in handleability and have a high rubbery elastomer content.
