The woven strip material, pref. as a continuous belt, uses the warps of filaments wound in spirals. The warps are worked in blocks (1-5) of at least two filaments, with their material characteristics working across the woven belt. Along the line of the warps, one block (5) forms a high tensile and inelastic center zone, and at least one block (1,3) forms an elastic edge zone.
