<p>The electrical igniter is for a gas burner having a cup and cover. A spark is generated between one electrode connected via the cup to earth and a second one insulated from it. The second electrode rode (9) is connected to the cover (2), which is insulated (3, 5) from the cup (1). There can be an insulating washer (3) between cover and cup, each of which has a lip (9, 8) extending beyond the washer periphery. The design avoids contamination due to milk boiling over etc., and is of simple construction.</p> |
