PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer device capable of printing on a sheet of proper size by taking precedence over a currently set variable multiplying factor without being restricted by sheet size designated by a command from a host device. SOLUTION: A controller 2 of a printer device 1 finds sheet size suitable for picture image size after variable multiplication by multiplying a currently set multiplying factor on sheet size designated by a paper size designation command sent from a host device 3 and carries out printing by making a printer engine 13 select a paper feeding tray of the suitable sheet size. In the case when there is no paper feeding tray suitable for the picture image size after variable multiplication, a data sent from the host device 13 is memorized in an RAM 10 as a picture drawing data and prints the picture drawing data memorized in the RAM 10 after the suitable paper feeding tray of the sheet size is newly installed. |
