<p>Dyes are of general formula : (where n is 1 or 2; R1 is H, Hal or opt. substd. alkyl or alkoxy gps; Y is H or sulpho gp; R's are residues of e.g. opt. substd. aminobenzene, aminonaphthalenes, amino-hydroxy-naphthalene sulphonic acids). They are prepd. by reacting a mono-azo cpd. obtained from the diazo deriv. of a 1-amino-8-hydroxy-naphthalene mono- or -disulphonic acid of a corresponding 31 or 41-aminobenzylamino and a 1,3-dihydroxy-hydroxymethyl-benzene.</p> |
