PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the inputting operation of control data for cloth inspection to a cloth inspecting apparatus capable of detecting the presence or absence of defects in a cloth by using a photoelectric sensor for picking up light reflecting the weaving state of the cloth and outputting an electric signal according to the quantity of the received light. SOLUTION: This cloth inspecting apparatus is capable of inputting and setting control data for weaving in order to perform the weaving, e.g. a picking pattern, a warp yarn tension, a loom rotational frequency R, a weft yarn density P or a weaving width H and control data for cloth inspection in order to carry out the cloth inspection, e.g. the standard interval [to -Δt, to +Δt], the loom rotational frequency R, weft yarn density P or a weaving width H by an input setter 56 and an input control computer Ci and displaying the control data inputted by using the input setter 56 and input control computer Ci with a display control computer Cd and a display device 57.
