PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glove compartment lighting device which can light the inner side of a glove compartment sufficiently, regardless of the drawing amount of the glove compartment. SOLUTION: In a lighting device in which a housing 1 fixed to a car body side, and a glove compartment 11 supported allowable to input and output in the housing 1, are provided, and the inner side of the glove compartment 11 is lighted by the light radiated from a light source 6 through a transparent light conductor 28, the light source 6 is fixed to the housing 1 side, the light conductor 28 is fixed to the glove compartment 11 side, and the light receiving part 28a of the light conductor 28 is made as a surface along the pulling out direction of the glove compartment 11 and opposed to the light source 6. As a result, the system is composed that the light radiated from the light source 6 reaches to the glove compartment 11, regardless of the drawing out amount from the inside of the housing 1, and the light conductor 28 is fixed to the glove compartment 11 side, and input and output together with the glove compartment. Consequently, even when the glove compartment 11 is drawn out perfectly from the inside of the housing 1 to the outer side, its inner side can be lighted sufficiently. |
