PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve stability of dye to exposure to ozone without having a bad influence upon other fastness by treating a polyamide fiber material with a liquid containing a polymer having a specific structural recurring unit before, during or after dyeing. SOLUTION: A natural or synthetic polyamide fiber material is treated with a liquid containing preferably 50-100 mol.%, more preferably 80-100 mol.% structural recurring unit of the formula [R1 is a (substituted) 1-4C alkyl] and containing preferably 0.05-10 wt.%, more preferably 0.1-6 wt.% homopolymer or copolymer having preferably 1,000-1,000,000, more preferably 5,000-200,000 average molecular weight before, during or after dyeing. |
