PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-theft device for a vehicle capable of preventing a car theft in which a forged key is used and increasing startability of an engine. SOLUTION: This device is provided: a start determination means 8a checking the start of an engine based on external signals; a start control means 10a permitting or exhibiting the start of the engine based on the determined result of the start determination means 8a; a permitting means 10b permitting the start of the engine regardless of the determined result, for a predetermined period after a key switch 2 is turned on, of the start determination means 8a; a stop means 10c stopping the engine when the start determination means 8a determines to stop the engine and after the predetermined period. |
