FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has cross beam installed on tractor tie-rods. Side sections mounted on beam has rippers in front of which knives are secured. Knives are installed in staggered order to rippers. Rippers are installed in two rows parallel to cross beam in staggered order relative to each other. Knives cut soil along track compacted by tractor in vertical plane forming layers of preset depth independent from each other. Rippers arranged behind knives get inside the layers. Each ripper acts onto soil layer limited in width and independent relative to adjacent soil layer. Two-row staggered arrangement of rippers prevents sticking of soil in adjacent layers and forming soil clods. EFFECT: reduced cloddiness of field. 2 dwg
