A navigation device for making a three-dimensional display when the car equipped with the navigation device approaches an intersection, which is provided with a traveling direction determining means which determines the traveling direction of the car, an intersection direction calculating means which calculates the difference between the traveling direction of the car and the direction in which the intersection exists, a viewpoint direction calculating means which calculates the direction of the viewpoint so as to make three-dimensional display in accordance with the difference between the determined traveling direction of the car and the calculated direction and a display means which makes display in accordance with the calculated direction of the viewpoint. This device can display the intersection, even if the difference between the traveling direction of the car and the direction in which the intersection exists is large.
