Method of connecting electronic components

The method involves connecting the contacts of the electronic components to conducting tracks of at least one circuit board (1) that lead to a common connection area where the tracks can be electrically connected to the wires (6) of cables. Through holes in the circuit board in the connection area accommodate the ends of the wires. Independent claims are also included for an arrangement for connecting electronic components and a connecting element for connecting cable wire ends to circuit boards.
