PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact differential gear incorporating a yaw moment control function. SOLUTION: A differential gear comprises a differential casing 9 adapted to be rotated by a drive force from an engine, a differential outputting the rotation of the differential casing 9 from side gears 37, 39, first speed-change mechanisms 17, 19 for coupling the side gears 37, 39 with the wheels 25, 27 side, respectively, a second speed change-mechanism 15 for coupling a parallel shaft 13 with the differential casing 9, and clutches 21, 23 arranged on the parallel shaft 13, for engaging and disengaging the parallel shaft 13 and the wheel 25, 27 side with and from each other.
