<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent the occurrence of accidents such as the runaway of a CPU loaded on an extention board and the hung-up of a body side by resetting the board connected to a bus by control from the body side. SOLUTION: Relating to a personal computer 1, a CPU 3 is initialized by the reset of a power supply at the time of its start, and after the completion of initializing processing, drives a device driver 4 in accordance with an application program and accesses the expantion board 2 are necessity. In the completed state of integration of the device driver 4 corresponding to the board 2, the board 2 is reset and then prescribed data exchanging processing is executed. At the time of start, the body side can surely grasp the operation state of the board 2 and drive the board 2 and can surely prevent the occurrence of an accident such as hung-up.
