PRESENTATION SYSTEM AND POSITION DETECTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a presentation system capable of accurately detecting the position as a pointing position in the case that a presenter indicates the desired position of a display area without the need of a special indicator. SOLUTION: This presentation system is provided with a projector 10 for displaying images, a CCD camera 14 for picking up the image of the display area and a processing part 110 for detecting the pointing position from the area of the shadow of the indication image of the presenter or a real image area included in the display area based on the image pickup signals of an image pickup means.
