<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate an obstacle for air current between windmill blades, improve power generation efficiency and increase strength of a windmill by providing the windmill constituted by providing the windmill blades which have vertical long planar shapes and whose cross section at a right angle to a long side is an S-curved surface by making the recessed curved surfaces relative and connecting a rotary shaft of this windmill with a generator. SOLUTION: A vertical shaft shaped generator 102 is stored within a base 101 to be a circular base, a cage-shaped frame constituted of four columns 103 and a column fixing ring 104 is disposed on this base 101, and a windmill 1 which is called a savonius type is stored in a longitudinal direction and is journalled to be freely rotable around a vertical axis line. This windmill 1 is constituted by combining two sheets of windmill blades 2 which are vertical long in parallel to a rotary axis center and whose cross section shape at a right angle to the rotary axis center is formed into an S-curved surface so as to make the recessed curved surfaces relative. The windmill 1 is acted to make the gutter-shaped recessed surface sides of these windmill blades 2 as wind receiving parts and a straight part at one end continuous to the recessed surfaces as an outflow part of air current and a hindrance for air current between the windmill blades is eliminated.</p> |
