INK JET RECORDING BODY, ITS MANUFACTURE AND RECORDING METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording body having excellent transparency of the ink receptor layer, enabling obtaining of images of superior printing density or printing glossiness, and having a good ink drying property. SOLUTION: This ink recording body is provided on the support with an ink receptor layer containing hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose having viscosity of 200 cPs or lower of 2% aqueous solution (20 deg.C). In addition, it is preferable that the ink receptor layer contains a single polymeric resin of N- vinylpyrrolidone or copolymeric resin of V-vinylpyrrolidone and other polymerizable monomer.
