VISS SIGNAL DETECTING CIRCUIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a VISS signal detecting circuit capable of surely detecting only the VISS signal without detecting erase noise. SOLUTION: Comparators CP1-CP10 receiving reference voltages Vref1-Vref10 (Vref1>Vref2...Vref5>Vbias>Vref6...Vref9>Vref10) are arranged, and an output signal APout of differential amplifier 4 is inputted to the comparators CP1-CP10. A selection circuit 101 maintains a maximum and a minimum peak levels at the time of the previous comparison. The selection circuit 101 selects output signals of one ranking lower and higher comparators than those which have detected the maximums and minimum peak levels, and supplies them to RS flip-flop circuit 13.
