PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyolefin resin compsn. which is excellent in processing stability, thermal stability, and resistance to discoloration by compounding a polyolefin resin with an inorg. filler, a specific phenol compd., a higher fatty acid amide compd. and/or a higher fatty acid monoglyceride compd., and a specific phosphite compd. SOLUTION: A resin compsn. in an amount of 100 pts.wt., comprising 98-35 wt.% polyolefin resin and 2-65 wt.% inorg. filler having an average particle size of 20μm or lower is compounded with 0.01-5 pts.wt., pref. 0.05-3 pts.wt., phenol compd. of formula I (wherein R1 is a 1-4C alkyl; (n) is 1-4; and R2 is a residue of a mono to tetrahydric alcohol), 0.001-5 pts.wt., pref. 0.01-3 pts.wt., higher fatty acid amide compd. of the formula: RCONHR' [wherein RCO is an acyl group derived from a higher fatty acid; R' is H, an alkyl, an alkenyl, or (CH2 )m NHCOR; and (m) is 1-6] and/or higher fatty acid monoglyceride compd., and 0.001-5 pts.wt. phosphite compd. of formula II.
