摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize drastic reduction in the consumption of a toner per page as well as to have the image quality of a copying machine and a printer improved. SOLUTION: This developer consists of a spherical toner contg. a bonding resin and a colorant and having about 1-6μm volume average particle diameter and a resin coated carrier, having 20-150μm volume average particle diameter. The colorant content of the toner is 8-20 wt.% of the total weight of the bonding resin and the colorant when the colorant is carbon black, and the colorant content is 3-20 wt.% when the colorant is an org. pigment.
