Suction box slots - with walls inclined in direction of web movement to increase dehydration rate

Paper web dehydrating suction box is provided with suction bars made of low density polyethylene and each bar is provided with slots extending transversely w.r.t. the direction of movement of the wet paper web and the walls of the slots are inclined downwardly in the direction of movement of the paper web to increase the rate of paper web dehydration and reduce the amount of heat required for drying of the paper web in the drying section of the paper making machine.
