PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and correctly perform recognition and comprehension of an ultrasonic wave image, and safely perform piercing in an ultrasonograph capable of displaying an ultrasonic image in a monitor surface by composing it in such a way that position relation between a probe or a piercing needle and the ultrasonic image displayed in the monitor surface can be easily and correctly grasped. SOLUTION: Probes 12, 15 to transmit/receive ultrasonic waves for obtaining an ultrasonic image have corresponding forms at least at ultrasonic wave transmitting/receiving parts, a probe type image of which size, position, and direction are matched with those of the ultrasonic image is displayed on a TV monitor 14 with the ultrasonic image, and a control means to display the type image enlarged or contracted at the same magnification corresponding to change of a display magnification of the ultrasonic image displayed with it is provided. |
