<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount and dismount a cover easily. SOLUTION: This container is constituted of a bottom case 1 having an opening section 1a in an upper face and engagement pieces 1c on both side faces, a wafer carrier 3 which is removably stored in the bottom case 1 and is formed on two facing faces with many longitudinal wafer supporting grooves 3e for storing semiconductor wafers, a cover 5 which is removably mounted in the opening section 1a of the bottom case 1 and has on both sides clamping sections 5a to be engaged with the engagement pieces 1c of the bottom case 1, and a cushioning member 4 which is mounted on an inner upper face of the cover 5 and has a wafer pressing member 4c for pressing downwards the edges of semiconductor wafers stored in the wafer supporting grooves 3e. Just by unclamping the clamping sections 5a formed on both sides of the cover 5, the cover 5 can be removed, in other words, the mounting and dismounting operation of the cover 5 can be done easily.</p> |
