PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide high reliability without causing a leakage by providing a battery terminal having an injection port by tapping machining on a sealing plate, housing an electrode plate group in a battery case, sealing the opening part of the battery case by the sealing plate, injecting a liquid through the injection port, and screwing a screw to the injection port to seal it. SOLUTION: A sealing plate including an injection port sealing device comprises an upper gasket 2, a lid plate 1, a lower gasket 3, and a washer 6 integrally caulked by a rivet 4. The rivet 4 has a prepared hole extended into the battery in about the center part, which is tapping machined at an M of 0.8-M2 to form an injection port 4a in injection. After an electrolyte is injected through the injection port 4a of the rivet 4, the injection port 4a is sealed by screwing a screw 6 to the tapped part of the rivet 4. Blown asphalt is applied between the screw and the rivet 4. |
